Dowco GUARDIAN Weather All Plus EZ Zip -motorbike cover is designed for both daily outdoor and indoor storage use. The MC -cover offers out of doors protection against the elements, scratching and hides the details of the motorbike and the accessory visually. Used indoors the cover keeps the surfaces cleaner, eliminates scratching and builds a kind of rest zone for the motorbike. The GUARDIAN -cover comes in 3 -sizes and already the smallest XL matches the size of the BMW R1200GS Adventure with a full aluminium pannier set. Covering the motorbike has been made very easy with a long rear end zipper which also gives a full access to the panniers at all times. The zipper has a flap which protects the surfaces from the zipper teeth. To remove the Dowco GUARDIAN Weather All Plus EZ Zip motorbike cover is the same way simple and quick which makes the cover rather functional even in everyday use. The cover has a soft lining against the windscreen which is a nice detail from the scratching point of view.
The Dowco GUARDIAN Weather All Plus EZ Zip motorbike cover is made of strong polyester textile, the seams are taped and double stitched which makes the cover even more durable. Colors are UV -protected which minimizes fading over time. The GUARDIAN -cover is water resistant which makes it more breathable from the condensation point of view, but not waterproof. In addition the cover has special ventilation features allowing free air circulation and moisture release. Heat protected side panels allow to cover the motorbike soon after the ride and the air vent releases the excess heat automatically. The Dowco GUARDIAN Weather All Plus EZ Zip motorbike cover could be secured on the motorbike with a cable wire through a rubber grommet at the front wheel. The cover has a tightening strap in the middle which comes necessary in the wind.
The Dowco GUARDIAN Weather All Plus EZ Zip motorbike cover is rather versatile, functional in use and a good investment for protection both during and after the motorcycling season. The GUARDIAN -cover is not made for transporting the motorbike with an open trailer, but I would not recommend to use any sort of cover during the transport. So far I have not seen better alternatives even at the motorbike manufacturers and inexpensive options hardly provide anything even close to the GUARDIAN. Those who can not park and store the motorbike in a garage, could simply prolong the lifetime of the motorbike paint, leather, rubber and the plastic parts by using a proper MC -cover and storage tarp.
