The ÖHLINS Racing AB provides ESA equiped BMW R1200GS motorcycles a full set of electronically controlled ÖHLINS shock absorbers for improved performance, comfort and tyre contact. One difference to originals is that these shock absorvers can be also serviced accordingly in order to provide full performance throughout the miles year after year.
Additionally the ÖHLINS -set has a smart semi active EC -function with comfort mode, providing higher damping levels automatically when the riding speed increases. The ÖHLINS set interacts fully with the original BMW R1200GS ESA control system. There are also different spring rates available which is interesting at least for riders carring more load than the average.
